“It Hurts Until it Doesn’t” by Mothers

every time i listen to this song i hear something new i relate to in the subtleties of the lyrics. it is so beautiful and so damning at the same time. the last line is “i don’t like myself when i’m awake” and i relate to that a lot, in different ways every time i listen

“How to Save a Life” by The Frey

For me this song truly speaks to me  with the descriptions in the songs. I think sometimes we all have a hard time in life some harder than others and we sometimes really do feel like we don’t give/get enough till it’s too late and we don’t relies it till the end.

“Lonely Lonely” by Jamila Woods ft. Lornie Chia

The sweet yet melancholy sound is exactly what I play when I’m in my feels about my insecurities. One of my biggest fears is being alone, and this song reminds me that I’m not the only one feeling this way.

“Living in a Memory” by The Growlers

This songs gets me every time with the words, “your face is clogging up my dreams, smiling so goddamn tenderly.” Its about missing someone you know is bad for you, and the pain that comes with moving on.
