Lyrics to “U R My Dream”:

there’s a place where i can go
where i can have you
when i’m there i feel alive
no longer see-through
i just lie there in your bed, asking questions
like, “why can’t this be real?”
you are my dream, believe it or not
when my eyes close, you’re all that i’ve got
but when i wake, i’m missing on you
you are my dream but you won’t come true
you’re the last one on my mind before i get there
and you’re the first one i look for when i get there
but is this warmth i feel each night really you?
or is it make believe
you are my dream, believe it or not
when my eyes close, you’re all that i’ve got
but when i wake, i’m missing on you
you are my dream but you won’t come true
at night i cry a prayer
“please lord please just
save me from this nightmare”
he’s your dream come true
you are my dream, believe it or not
when my eyes close, you’re all that i’ve got
but when i wake, i’m missing on you
you are my dream but you won’t come true
you are my dream, believe it or not
when my eyes close, you’re all that i’ve got
but when i wake, i’m missing on you
you are my dream but you won’t come true

“It Hurts Until it Doesn’t” by Mothers

every time i listen to this song i hear something new i relate to in the subtleties of the lyrics. it is so beautiful and so damning at the same time. the last line is “i don’t like myself when i’m awake” and i relate to that a lot, in different ways every time i listen

“How to Save a Life” by The Frey

For me this song truly speaks to me  with the descriptions in the songs. I think sometimes we all have a hard time in life some harder than others and we sometimes really do feel like we don’t give/get enough till it’s too late and we don’t relies it till the end.
