Sadcore Sundays: “Borders” by St. Beauty

Sadcore Sundays: "Borders" by St. Beauty

What I love most about “Borders” by St. Beauty are the outstanding vocal performances from both members of the duo. While the lyrics and production help in giving the song a definite emotional impact, the vocals are what really stand out in this track.

Genevieve Munroe: #manicdepression Short Film

Posted by Georgia St. Jones on September 13, 2018

Genevieve Munroe is a Los Angeles based photographer using her art as an open diary and as a way to tell her story, her way. The twenty-six year old artist invites us into her world in her short film “#manicdepression” (featured below) where we watch her live and in action as an ever changing self-portrait. Here, I interview Munroe about her experiences with her mind obstacles and how art plays a part in coping healthily.

Self-Care: Quick and Easy Meals Fit For a Budget

Preparing your own meals is a part of self-care that can be ignored or easily forgotten. Sometimes we feel too exhausted to cook and we find ourselves in the habit of eating fast food that can end up being the reason we continue to feel sluggish and heavy. Buying so much fast food also drains the wallet and the cost of those burgers and fries can really add up.
