“And Through Her Eyes She is Whole” – Short Story by Georgia St. Jones

"And Through Her Eyes She is Whole" - Short Story by Georgia St. Jones

Grass blades stick into her skin as she lay on her back, completely bare. She sinks into the ground beneath her and can feel the Earth move in sync with her own breathing. Her eyes open to see the infinite blue above and stares into the eyes of melancholy while remembering the times she’s been here before.

Yesika Salgado’s Sentimental Boss Bitch: Chapbook Review

Yesika Salgado's Sentimental Boss Bitch: Chapbook Review

Yesika Salgado, also known as Yesika Starr, has the honor of being one of the few poets that can actually fuck me up with words. With the recent release of  “Corazón,” her first book, I wanted to look back on other works from Salgado.  “Sentimental Boss Bitch,” a chapbook, was self-published this year. It’s eighteen pages long. In those eighteen pages there’s love, joy, longing, pain, heartbreak and of course, learning how to be a sentimental boss bitch.

Relationship Advice: Dear Masculine Bae with a Mental Obstacle

Relationship Advice: Dear Masculine Bae with a Mental Obstacle

Dear Masculine Bae with a Mental Obstacle,
You have a Bae who loves you, so open up to your Bae and let your Bae help you. Have compassion for your Bae who is worried sick about you, and ease into talking about your issues with your Bae. Your Bae will never know or be able to help until you start talking. Practice action-therapy vs. numb-therapy, meaning, take baby steps to confront your problems.

I dated an extremely masculine Bae one time who ignored EVERYONE when he was in a funk and just numbed out on who knows what.
